1. Data controller
MH & MG Abogados SCP, tax ID J17807892. Barcelona office: Rambla Catalunya 92, 3º 2D, 08008 Barcelona. Roses office: José Espronceda 10, Local C6, 17480 Roses (Girona). Contact: info@mhmgabogados.com; telephone 933 683 202. Data protection enquiries may be sent to that email.
2. Purposes and legal grounds
We process contact details and information you provide to handle enquiries and appointment requests made through forms, email, telephone or WhatsApp, based on your consent and/or precontractual steps you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (b)). Accepted professional engagements are processed to perform the contract and meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c)). Informational communications require your express request or authorisation. Google Analytics is used only with consent to analytical cookies. We do not make automated decisions or profiles producing legal effects.
3. Retention
Enquiries are retained for the time needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period. Client records are retained during the engagement and for applicable limitation and statutory retention periods. Consent-based processing ends when consent is withdrawn, without prejudice to lawful retention obligations. Records are then deleted, anonymised or blocked where legally required.
4. Recipients and international transfers
Hosting and maintenance providers, including Strato, may process data to provide their services. Google Ireland Limited provides Analytics when you consent. Contact via WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp Ireland Limited/Meta’s own privacy terms. Data may be communicated to courts, public authorities, professional bodies or other recipients where necessary and legally justified. International transfers, where applicable, must have valid GDPR safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
5. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact info@mhmgabogados.com or either office. Additional proportionate identification information is requested only if there are reasonable doubts about identity; an identity-document copy is not routinely required. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
6. Cookies and external links
Technical cookies support the website. Non-essential analytical cookies require prior consent through the cookie settings panel, where you can accept, reject or change your preferences. Google Analytics operates only with that consent. A WhatsApp link opens an external service governed by its own privacy policy. Cookie information is included here rather than on a separate cookies page.
7. Security and confidentiality
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, under GDPR Article 32. Information received in professional practice is also subject to applicable confidentiality and professional-secrecy obligations.
8. Updates
This policy may be revised to reflect legal changes and processing practices. Material changes will be communicated through the website. Last updated: 5 October 2026.
